The City of Gosnells is progressing with a $5.6M redevelopment of the Thornlie Community and Sports Hub to improve the community facilities in the Thornlie area. This redevelopment will benefit the existing and future users of Thornlie Bowling Club, the Thornlie Tennis Club and the wider community.

This project has been progressing since 2014, when the the Bowling Club commenced investigations into possible options to renew their current facility.

It evolved into a hub development incorporating new purpose-built facilities for the Bowling Club, Tennis Club and community functions hire. The hub project is jointly funded by the Australian Government, Lotterywest, the City of Gosnells and the Thornlie Bowling Club.
