Sky Bridge

Skybridge is an elevated walkway with travelators and lifts for passengers using the airport's new train station being built near Terminal 1.

Construction has begun on Skybridge, which connects Terminal 1 at Perth Airport to Airport Central Station as part of the Forrestfield-Airport Link project.

The enclosed 280-metre space is part of the Forrestfield-Airport Link project and should be ready once the Forrestfield line opens in late 2020.

Construction of the airport station is advanced, while work on the elevator pit and elevated walkway near the main skybridge entrance has begun.

The new bridge will give passengers a sheltered scenic walk from the main terminal car park straight to T1 and also T2 and provide views of the new terminal precinct for airport visitors.

The skybridge, future train station and upgrades to major road networks are part of the $2 billion Forrestfield-Airport Link and Perth Airport's redevelopment.

CK Maloney Surveying are proud to have been part of this project in the instalment of the glass facades of the bridge
