Penrhos College demolition works began at the close of the school year in 2019

The project was procured on an ECI process with Focus Building Company providing value management and design management during the design process.

 

The works consist of part demolition of the existing science building to prepare for construction of a new extended science building. The project has a number of challenges to overcome, in particular, site access, as the new building will be located in the middle of the College.

 

Careful programming is required to ensure minimal disruption to the schools’ students and teachers as work continues during the 2020 semester and is to be completed in 11 months, from December 2019 to November 2020.
