Construction of a “strong floor” for the Structural Dynamics Workshop . The slab itself is 2 metres deep and comprises multi-strand Post Tension cabling as well as the casting in of over 300nr 50 and 75mm high tensile Macalloy Bolts, which are 2 metres in length and are to be cast within extremely high tolerances (+/- 1mm vertically, +/-2mm laterally).

The forces imposed on the slab will be immense and the facility will be the largest of its kind in the Southern hemisphere.
